I have to say I enjoyed my stay at the former Sofitel. As expected (since we were in one of the politest countries in Europe), the check was smooth and the staff was courteous. A ten minute walk from the train station (some of it is uphill so I suggest a cab) this hotel is blocks from the old town and a short walk to the Swiss National Museum.
