I don't seek to be too hard on this hotel. Some things were excellent. Location in the centre of Bruges is perfect. The two main public rooms (lounge-bar and breakfast room) are as charming and elegant as the hotel web site would have you believe. The bedroom amenities were fine, and the staff helpful. But.... The accommodation in the website... more

This hotel is absolutley devine. It is on the river and is a small luxury hotel. The decor and rooms are fabulous. We had a junior suite, which was massive and richly decorated, with a fantastic bathroom with double sinks, and a huge fireplace in the room. The staff were helpful and upon request would come up and light the... more

I booked 2 rooms for 4 nights based on tripadvisors #2 recommendation in Brugge. Upon making reservations we were told how fortunate we were as these were only 2 rooms available "due to conference" at $320.00 (U.S.) night w/o breakfast! Plus parking +/- 30 Euro/day. Specifically chose this hotel for location and queen bed (not 2 beds pushed together-we got... more

Right on the canal and a 200m stroll to main square, good quality rooms.Breakfast (inc champagne)expensive at 19 euros but you can have more or less want you want. Own locked covered car park nearby is handy but plus 25euros/day.Its a good hotel but not necessarily good value more

We visited this hotel for a weekend break. We opted for a canal view room and got a room on the basment floor which opened out onto the hotels patio which overlooked the canal which was in our opinion the best room! The staff were very nice and helpful - amongst the best I've met in a hotel. Really nice... more

My girlfriend and I have just returned from a magical bank holiday weekend in Bruges where we spent two nights at fabulous and ideally central De Orangerie. We very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel - we had a courtyard facing room on the second floor. The room was spacious and well appointed with some lovely little touches which... more

We have just returned from a two night stay at the Orangerie and cannot enthuse enough! It is hard to imagine ever staying at a better hotel - we are now considering going back for our honeymoon. We loved its quiet sophistication, cleanliness and the attention to detail. The choice at breakfast was fantastic, and how opulent to start the... more

PERFECT, JUST PERFECT! Stayed in a junior suite, room 106 complete with fire. The location couldnt be better, everything on your doorstep. Attention to detail and friendliness just fantastic. I've run out of superlatives. Dont bother staying anywhere else in bruges, stay here. Highly recomment the restaurant De Floren Tingen, as good as any michelan starred eaterie. Just try any... more
