We booked this hotel directly with the owner. He was very helpful and went out of his way to describe the differences between the rooms and suites to my wife. When we got there we understood! This is a converted grand home with an ornate facade and central garden. We asked for a cot as we had our 10 month... more

The Hotel Walburg wasn't our first choice hotel when we tried to book for the Easter period, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel is very clean and we loved the decoration, lovely wooden floors, glass chandeliers, and everything crisp and white.....including the weather, (snow). Bruges is quite a small place but the hotel was nicely situated... more

The following may appear petty and a bit 'hair-splitty', but couple this with the ambience set by the Parton's- Mr. and Mrs. Grumpy, then you may see why we started to question the fact that just because a hotel has a fine and imposing frontage and big, high ceilinged rooms and it pipes clichéd classical music around the place, does... more

Hotel Walburg is well located in Brugge just a short walk to Burg and Market Square. The building is grand and decoration is simple, creating a calm which is supported by soft classical music . Breakfast buffet was included and consisted of hot beverage; oj; cerials; sausage; bacon; eggs; fruit and an assortment of breads. The guest room was large;... more

The hotel is fresh and clean and the room service is effective. Font door security was careful but the room locks could be improved upon. The location is convenient and reasonably close to many of the sites - easy walking distance. There is no parking but you are directed to a public park where you can leave your car as... more

Hotel Warburg was a beautiful hotel. Its site was quite, room large and bathrooms totally modern. The staff was efficient, pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was great. We got to experience the Ascension Day procession. Quite the experience. Brugge is a charming City. I would return without hesitation. more

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Walburg for 3 nights in April. We really loved it. We booked a superior room, which was one of the largest that I have seen in Europe. The room was tastefuly decorated and the bathroom was modern and large. Their breakfast was very good with both hot and cold foods and excellant... more

We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful hotel which is quite near the centre of Bruges. The lobby/stairway, diningrooms and bar are stunning and well maintained. There is quiet piped music playing in the lobby which dates back to Louis VI era which added to the delight of staying in the stunning surroundings of this well maintained hotel. The... more

We had rented a "junior suite", not realizing that it would be one big room instead of two rooms with a door between. With two young children, we have a lot of sleep issues. The staff really bent over backwards trying to move us. Unfortunately, we were forced to stick with the junior suite. Also, the restaurant was open only... more
