Yes, the entrance is a little difficult - 49 steps, but not all in one continuous flight - but it gives you exclusive access to the charming, shady courtyard of the hotel, where you can rest to catch your breath, and have meals and drinks during your stay. We had an enjoyable stay for 5 nights, the hotel isn't right in the centre but has good public transport links within a few minutes walk.
