Wow...... and wow again. Everything was perfect. The palace itself in which the hotel truly is situated is breathtaking. We loved the Pestana Palace! The main building is an old 19th century palace with coloured glass doors, high ceilings with lots of stucco and very beautiful, cosy and colourful interior design. The staff is very friendly and professional, they all seem to love their jobs. All rooms except for three luxury suites are in modern extensions of the palace.... more
