Great deal on Priceline, thanks to one of the posters who let us know about bidding for travel dot com. Our stay here was very good arrived and they originally had a room with 1 bed after some shuffling was able to get a 2 bedded room. Desk staff was very helpful and so was "Gus" the bellman. He told... more

Took my wife off for a surprise 5 day break to celebrate our wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental. I have been visiting Athens for about 10 years on business and stayed in a number of hotels, however none comes close to this one. I appreciate that business and holiday travellers have different requirements, however both... more

We used the Athenaeum as a one day stop over before joining a cruise. It was a short ride from the airport, the room was large and clean (for two adults and two teens), and the lobby restaurant was very good, although very expensive. We were able to book a private tour guide from the concierge and received a fabulous... more

We loved the Intercontinental Athens. Upon entering, we felt like it was a true luxury hotel. The front desk was quick, friendly, and efficient. The concierge was very helpful and attentive. The rooms were very nicely appointed. They were large, had very nice amenities, great bathrooms, very comfortable beds (you could choose your own pillow from a menu!), and were... more

The InterContinental was my boyfriend and my first accomodation in Greece and boy was it ever something. Upon arrival, our luggage was promptly taken up to our rooms as to be expected at a hotel of this nature. The bed was big, spacious and had comfortable bedding. I couldn't ask for more in terms of sleeping space. Though, the boyfriend... more

Stayed here for a conference and I would have to say that unless the company is picking up the Tab, be wary. firstly, the staff were fine - concierge was great and organised for taxis, restaurants buses etc. the rooms were pretty standard hotel fare, clean and tidy. the TV's were big LCD, but only had a few channels (I... more

I stayed here with my wife at the end of our honeymoon for 2 nights in July 08. Service was excellent (e.g. late check out with no extra charge), facilities are all modern and clean and air conditioning is good. The room was large and comfortable and with a great Acropolis view from the bed. The concierge and bellboys were... more

We stayed here for a couple nights during our tour of Greece thanks to an overbooking at a much smaller hotel. The intercontinental was by far the nicest, most luxurious, and most comfortable hotel we stayed at during our month in Greece, but it's location leaves a bit to be desired. The public transportation is fine and you can definitely... more
