We stayed at the Golden city over the new years and it was nice and clean for the money. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their breakfast is as good as everyone said. The metro stop is only few blocks away so transportation is no problem. The area is not for little kids for sure but otherwise just be aware.... more

We had high hopes for the hotel because of the fabulous presentation photos on the internet. However, the room was very small in size - just the double bed with one chair, one bedside table and a cupboard with two hangers. Cannot really recommend the hotel except for the nice staff and the nice rooftop restaurant. more

Location: Not sure if close to metro we rented a car. I think every one should do that. Greece is easy enough to travel by car and it is gorgeous to do so.
