The Elounda Peninsula is set about 6km from Elounda and 12km from Agios Nikolaos. They hosted our wedding on 6th June 2008 and they seriously cannot do enough for you. You are treated like royalty from the moment you arrive with staff (even the general manager!) waiting to greet you. They sit you down, offer you champagne and let you... more

We stayed in the hotel from 3rd to 10th June and were a little anxious having read the mixed reviews after booking. However, overall I would say that our experience was a positive one and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to have a relaxing sun holiday in a beach location, with Spa facilities nearby if they... more

Crete has changed. unfortunately it is much worse. There is little charm and not enough real villages and people. The resort is supposed to be really fantastic and very luxurious at least in service. Well , it is neither. There is nothing really wrong with it, but for the price one pays, one should get much better. overall disappointing. more

A lot of people seem to be neglecting the fact that prices are determined by market laws: supply and demand. The Elounda Peninsula is a hotel that has high prices in response to surging demand year after year, as well as in response to the cost of our top-tier services: a "World's Best" spa (according to the Sunday Times) and...

This is too expensive and too hyped up. A very mediocre hotel with mediocre service. There is nothing special about the area either. We stayed there last May and we were very disappointed with the whole product. I wish I had listened to a friend of mine who did say there is nothing much wrong with it but does not... more

The management of the hotel has done its best to locate this guest's stay on its records and has contacted them thourgh this site in order to find out what went wrong. As we have pointed out before, there's no use telling us about a problem after leaving the hotel, because there's nothing we can do about it any more....

My wife and I ended our 12 day Greece honeymoon with a four day stay at the Elounda Peninsula. We arrived late in the night and were greated by a nice gentleman at the reception desk. After a brief tour of the hotel we were showed our room which was beautiful. We were delighted to find a bottle of champagne,... more

We arrived at the hotel late in the evening, and were given a brief introduction of the hotel and shown our Junior suite with private pool and located right on the beach. A delightful honeymoon reception awaited us, including flower petals across the mantleplace and bed, candles, fruit, and a bottle of cheap red wine. Unfortunately our pool light wasn't... more

My fiance and I have just returned from a 10 day stay at the Elounda Peninsula All Suite Hotel. We flew in to LGW yesterday and can only wish we were still there! We both had an amazing time from the point of arrival at the Hotel to our departure. We arrived at around 5am after a very 'good' taxi... more

The Elounda Peninsula is definitely a nice, relaxing resort but unlike some other reviews, I have stayed at many 5-star hotels (outside of Greece) that have executed the service and amenities better. Maybe the person who greeted us was tired when she gave us the review of the grounds and restaurant options, but we felt that she wasn't genuine in... more
