This is a clean and functional hotel, bland with average service. The hotel needs modernisation and update of facilities and decor (I believe an overhaul is expected very shortly). Until then, you can probably do better. more

We were booked at the Tegnerlunden by our Conference for 8 days. So, we didn't actually choose it ourselves, but after checking it out on Tripadvisor I was OK with how it sounded. We stayed in Hotel Tegnerlunden for a night on our way to a canoeing holiday and it really enjoyed the stay. The hotel is central and in walking distance from the railway station and airport buses. Walking to the Gamla Stan is also easy. Whilst the outside of the hotel looks a bit like an office building it's very nice... more
