We stayed here for a long weekend in late Sept’06. Room. Not so much 5 Star fantastic but more like 4 Star average. Small, bland, very high ceilings that are disproportionate to the rest of the room. I have to say that I expected a bit more from a 5 star hotel than what we got. The room was tiny and no place to sit down except for the bed. However, the bathroom was very nice, the bed comfortable and the rest of the hotel very nice. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of cold... more

Great place... the mix of scandinavian design and historical building is unique and classy. Rooms seem a little small but the heigh of ceiling compensate this. Service is helpful and location is central (great for shoping). more

The single room I got was small but had a very warm atmosphere and was very comfortable and quiet despite windows towards the restaurant far below (glass ceiling). Marketed as a 'Design Hotel' - what a joke. Great design, but appalling function. The room was small with nowhere to hang clothes except on 2 pegs. Only space to open 1 suitcase at a time. To use the safe you had to kneel on the floor (great bit of design that!!) Excellent breakfast. more

Hi All Just got back from a three day trip to Gothenburg, we have been to several places in Sweden, all I might add clean, friendly and beautiful. Gothenburg is definitely the best, fantastic choice of restaurants, Nordstan shopping mall was amazing, Paddan boat trips, liked it so much we are going back in 4 weeks as couldn't fit everything... more
