First, the pros: it's in a great location. It's right in the first district, a 30 second walk to Karnterstrasse in one direction and the Ringstrasse in the other. The price with breakfast is very reasonable. The front desk clerk at check-in is very sweet. The woman that serves breakfast is also very sweet and eager to please. The breakfast... more

We booked our stay at this hotel because of the location, and after researching other area hotels which, due to the Euro 2008 soccer matches, were 3-4 times the price. We were fearful that the room might be uncomfortably small and we were not disappointed. A postage stamp is larger than these rooms and the bathroom. The bathroom is so... more

We booked this hotel via the internet upon the recommendation of the Rick Steve's Guidebook. While it may be conveniently located, the place is impossible. It is run by a woman who is rigid, uncooperative and money hungry. My friend, who is asthmatic was put in a tiny dark cell which they called Room 14 (about 6' X 8'), with... more

I loved this hotel. The service was wonderful. I can't remember the lady's name at the from desk, but she was awesome! She made us feel so at home. She would talk to us every time we came in to make sure we had a nice time. This hotel cannot be in a better location. It is near everything and... more

My husband and I visited Vienna for the Christmas Markets this year and could not have picked a better hotel. The staff was friendly and full of good advice, the rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was large and delicious, and the location was great. more

The location of this hotel is absolutely the best - convenient to museums, opera, beautiful churches, shopping, restaurants. The room and bathroom was very small, but kept clean and charmingly European! The staff was friendly, helpful and the breakfast buffet was very good. The price was a little high in early October, but best location comes at a price. more

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days in June and really enjoyed my accommodations. I saw many different faces in my stay and all of them were friendly and helpful... from the front desk, to the dining room staff to the maids. (On the evening before my deparutre, when the clerk realized I was leaving early, he wrote a... more

Great location, nice staff and ample breakfast. It was a good stay though not completely comfortable because the rooms are really small, there is no air conditioning and there is a lot of street noise. more

I'm booking another trip to Vienna and upon reading so many reviews in the 3-star category feel compelled to say something about my stay here last year. The entrance may look charming, but I can't say the same about the single rooms. The L-shaped room I had was so small I found it difficult to spread my arms and be... more

My family and I have just returned from a 5-day stay in Vienna. The hotel has an absolutely fantastic location in the centre of the city - literally round the corner from the opera, a 5-minute walk to the Cathedral and 10-minutes to the Hofburg. It is also just round the corner from the main shopping area, situated right at... more
