I can't believe that this is a Hilton hotel. How can they allow their brand to be associated with this very average motel? Don't expect much and you'll be fine. However, there are far better places to stay. The nearby Hilton (Newbury Centre) isn't much better either though! more

I stay here a lot as it is convenient for work when in Newbury. It seems like pretty much everyone who stays here is on business and I can see no other reason to stay there. Stayed here for one night only on a stopover to Southampton for a cruise. Had booked a special Bank Holiday weekend rate (even though it was the Thurs night) of £39 per room. After reading the reviews I was surprised how nice it was. Some staff could not understand English, but all staff tried to be helpful. Leisure facilities good, and the pool was a lovely temperature every day. Would definitely go back., but very irratating to be charged for parking. more
