We booked Cressbrook Hall for our wedding and chose to stay there on our wedding night. Some of our guests including our families stayed there too, some for 2 nights. This review reflects the overall experience of those people. Firstly the location and the building are stunning. A better place to stay would be hard to find in Derbyshire. There... more

We only stopped for one night but I wish it had been more. If it’s high-tec, modern chic you’re after then this is not the place for you. It is however a beautiful Gothic Pile set amid wonderful scenery with splendid views of the valley and ideally situated for walking the dale. Breakfast was served in a wooden panelled dining... more

Fantastic location with beautiful views. Accommodation was extremely clean- but the decor and bathroom were dated and a bit shabby. Fab english breakfast. Cost fror two nights was £230 for double room which was over priced in comparison to other B and B's in the area. For the same money....we should have stayed at Hassop Hall which is more grand... more

Their are no communal rooms other than the... more

The Lodge was quaint and soon warmed up aided by a log fire which was soon roaring... more

There were four of us occupying two rooms, both overlooking the car-park and a slope up to Cressbrook village. All the best views are at the front of the hall and can be seen during breakfast in the dining room. The breakfast and coffee were good although we were asked to leave the table to make room for other guests... more
