The hotel is in a lovely position but is in need of a complete refurbishment both inside and outside, The entrance driveway in need of the tarmac finishing, and parking bays marked. a last min decision again stayed on a dbb which was brill the room was fine although we did have to ask them to change our sheets on arrival as there were some stray hairs on them which i believe were from the cleaning staff but you can never be sure the staff were brilliant about it and most apologetic... more

Stayed on DBB basis and good points vastly outweigh negatives. The hotel was very dilapidated and a sickly damp smell permeated the air everywhere you went. The place was very cold and the carpets were to be frank filthy.
