This was a package tour for a week in November 2007. The room was clean and large. The food was great. The wait staff excellent. Hotel situated to walking distance to the center of town. We found everyone helpful at the front desk. I would stay there again and would recomment it to anyone. more

The Hotel Manzoni was a beautiful place to stay. It had a lovely patio and was very quiet. However, some rooms located on the street side were somewhat loud. The staff at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful with directions, etc. The food was very good and the waitstaff very friendly. Rooms were small but very clean and... more

We stayed at the hotel Manzoni Sept 5 - 11 and found it a little shabby. The room was okay, bigger by Italian standards with a nice bathroom. However, we didn't find it terribly clean. One day (Sunday) the room was not cleaned at all. The bed was made, however our used towels were just folded and put back out and... more

I was part of a large group tour -- stayed here summer 2007 for 2 nights. We were all very pleased. The town is small and beautiful, the hotel right in the heart of it - very walkable. The staff was friendly, breakfast quite good, and the rooms very comfortable. A few quirks: air conditioning does not operate overnight so... more

We stayed as part of a package tour for a week. Room was clean, excellent daily maid service, etc--perfectly adequate and enjoyable. The food was less than dramatic or 5 star gourmet, but still quite nice and the wait staff was delightful. Always had friendly help from front desk. Great location in Montecatini, which is a short rail hop from... more

Stayed in the Hotel Manzoni as part of a tour group from 14th to 21st September 2006. Hotel was shabby with exposed electric cable in the shower room, airconditioning did not work, T.V, rested on top of fridge, drawer hanging on bedside locker, bed linen not changed for the week and a constant awful smell lingered in the room. Food... more

I stayed in the Hotel Manzoni for 1 week in April. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Very friendly staff who really appreciate it when you try to speak some Italian (learn a few phrases before you go), very good location, excellent food, very clean. I would stay there again and would reommend it. more

Have recently stayed at the hotel Manzoni and found it somewhat lacking. The hotel is shabby (but at least clean) and the staff all seem to begrudge the guests for intruding upon their day (or night). Not the friendliest welcome you could expect, and the aircon in the rooms didn't work either. more
