In making arrangements for our stay, Maggie was very prompt and courteous. There was some concern that a family emergency would prevent our reservation from being kept, but Maggie was very gracious and communicative, and luckily we were able to stay the two expected nights. Upon arrival, Maggie was quick to provide suggestions for eating and sightseeing in the area... more

My husband and I stayed at Emlagh Lodge for two nights during a two week trip around Ireland. I contacted Maggie via email early in the year to secure reservations. She replied with directions and some info about Dingle and the area (ATM info, for example). Confirmed reservations about 2 weeks before departure and I called the day of arrival... more

Me and my partner stayed here as we were attending a wedding in the area and booked due to the good price. We were flabbergasted when we arrived and entered our room it was absolutely stunning, from the oak floors to the well placed furniture not the mention the break taking sea views. to compliment the room the breakfast was... more

This was the best B&B on our trip across Ireland and Scotland. The location was great and the food was so fresh and wonderfully displayed. VERY clean and well ran. Thanks! more

Upon arriving to Dingle, we pulled into the first large lot we saw...it was for the Emlagh House not Lodge. Don't get confused but you are very close to Maggie's b&b. Our room faced the bay and had a wonderful view. The room and bathroom were tidy and spotless. All the reminders another reviewer mentioned were there. I suspect that... more

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay and Dingle. I have no complaints at all about the Emlagh Lodge. We stayed there toward the end of the tourist season in October. We had a nice time driving around the peninsula. We ate at the pubs twice in Dingle if for no other reason than to save a bit of... more

This B&B had us fantasizing about relocating to Dingle permanently! Fantastic views of the bay as you wake up and beautiful, spacious rooms. You walk into town on a private little trail that snakes along the bay. As we had to leave very early the following morning, Maggie insisted on providing breakfast for us over an hour before normally scheduled-... more

My wife and I stayed three nights in March at Emlagh Lodge in Dingle. We had high expectations after reading many positive Tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. Of four B&B establishments we stayed at on our nine night trip in Ireland, Emlagh Lodge was our favorite, hands down. The town of Dingle was lovely, and the entire Peninsula showcased... more

been one of a party that stayed here we would have reservations about above average height people thinking of staying here. The slanted ceilings gave us a very uncomfortable stay with a lot of stooping involved and a very closed in feeling to room.Nice in other ways but just not for 'tallies' like us. more

I just got back from staying at Emlagh Lodge and I've been quite torn as to recommend it or not. Whether or not you will enjoy Emlagh really depends on what you are looking for in a B&B. If you need a clean, comfortable base for exploring Dingle, Slea Head, etc., then Emlagh Lodge is just great. All the reviews... more
