What a delight this was. Two nights was probably not enough, as we hated to leave. Lovely room, a double bed and a single for our teenage son. Fabulous breakfast, all local produce, meats, eggs, even the apple juice! Mick and Mari are as lovely and hospitable as anyone we met in Ireland. They offered fabulous sightseeing suggestions, and provided... more

We stayed at Glendine for one night during our trip. On the day that we checked in, there was a rare and freakish summer gale blowing through the town. We showed up cold and soaked! The owner greeted us with warm rhubarb muffins and hot tea... heaven after site-seeing in the rain! She also settled us into a really cool... more

We loved staying at the Glendine, B&B. When we arrived Mari greeted us with homemade muffins and tea and gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The property is at a good location with a quick walk into town. It was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. The hosts Mari and Mick are a... more

We had self catering booked in Clonakilty and had to stay in a B and B the night before we booked in. We spotted Glendine on Tripadvisor and decided to try it. We were greeted warmly by the hostess who treated us to tea and cakes after we booked in. We were made to feel at home immediately. Out room... more

We just happened upon Glendine on the web and it was all it was supposed to be. Mari the owner made us so welcome we did not want to leave. We only moved on because we had other accommodation booked. When we arrived Mari gave us homemade muffins in a sunroom with a lovely view of the town and countryside.... more

Mari & Mick Hanly operate a very nice B&B. Their location is but a few minutes walk in town. When we arrived, as soon as we got settled Mari offered us tea and muffins, homemade by the way, and excellent conversation. The rooms are large, accommodating and clean. Mari puts up a first class breakfast to start the day. I... more

Everything is always so fine in my favorite B & B - Glendine! Hosts Mary and Michael Hanley make this B & B a fantastic place to stay. Their hospitality is incredible. Glendine B&B is convenient to town, and the view out the front of the house is gorgeous, looking down the hills to the town of Clonakilty and beyond.... more

Just returned from a week in western Ireland. Spent two nights in Clonakilty at the Glendine Irish House. We had two rooms, one for my wife and I and one for our daughter. Great place and great value. The owners are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and are extremely helpful in advising on tours, sightseeing and... more

We happened upon this lovely B&B quite by chance when we arrived in Clonakilty without having anything booked. We tried a couple of B&Bs but they were full and we spotted the sign to Glendine from the main street. We were so lucky. We only intended to stay one night but stayed three and the only reason we left after... more

We stayed in 7 bed and breakfasts during our holiday in Ireland. They were all quite nice but our stay at Glendine was the best. Our room was spotless and clean and was nearly twice as big as some of the rooms we stayed in. The hosts, Marie and Mike treated us more as friends than guests and were most... more
