This is a nice hotel in a good location - it's an easy walk to the Harbour Bridge, the rocks and Opera House. The rooms are large, and the bathrooms are amazing. We got a really good deal on the hotel by doing various web-searches. more

I had a mixed experience at the Amora recently. They wouldn't check me in, even though I was only 15 minutes early. Poor check-in, unfriendly staff, didn't clean room well, 3 days without replenishing the mini-bar, complained and nothing improved. The Amora was a beautiful hotel - tastefully decorated, comfortable, with views of the city. They had lovely amenities - like a complimentary bottle of champagne on arrival (which I didn't know about) and a lovely breakfast and food/drink credit for the hotel restaurants - also, a nice gym/pool. Perfect Location.... only 5-10 mins from Opera House and the Bridge - only 15 mins walk from Darling Harbour! Got given free upgrade - very friendly staff - would definitely stay there again! more
