We got a decent prepaid rate for a king-sized bedroom over Easter weekend. We were generally pleased with the large room and comfy bed and pillows. The Parmelia Hilton has a good position. In the downtown area, in the CBD with easy walking to shops and the river. And that’s about it. It badly needs a makeover. Don't get me wrong, the people working at the Hilton are great, from the bellmen to the manager. They just happen to be stuck in a hotel that time and corporate have forgotten.
