I was considering what I could add to the range of already highly accurate reviews posted on this hotel and decided on the following: The service in the breakfast room is perfectly pitched- lots of staff, all eager to assist without being overly attentive- absolutely faultless. We love the tea caddies- look out for the 'Caravan' tea made me chuckle... more

We just returned home from a week-long stay at the Maximillian. I can't say enough positive things about it. We thought the location was perfect...just far enough from Old Town Square as to be quiet, yet close enough to get everywhere we needed to get. With just enough walking to burn off the heavy czech food! A clean, modern hotel,... more

Have just spent 4 nights at the Maximilian Hotel. The hotel is ideally placed for exploring the city. There are many reviews on TA for the hotel and I can only say the positive are correct. Our welcome on arrival was excellent - friendly check in staff, escort to our room on the 1st floor. An excellent room of perfectly... more

Myself and partner stayed here for four nights in March 2008. Let me first point out all that is right with the holtel: Location: only superb. You won't find much better i.e close to main squares, attractions etc but off the noisy beaten track. Cleanliness: Excellent right through from the common areas to the bedrooms. The bathroom was exceptionally clean.... more

My fiancee and I just returned from a six-day trip to Prague. It is a very romantic and picturesque city. We got engaged in a little plaza on the river next to the Charles Bridge. I will say that the Hotel Maximilian is a fantastic hotel. The location is absolutely perfect - we did not take the metro or trams... more

This was a good boutique and we had read about its sister hotel the Hotel Josef. The Josef was booked so we went with this and it was a great stay. The design reminded us of NYC boutiques (small hallways and weird hallway/entry point). The rooms were clean and well designed as was the entire lobby level. Breakfast was good... more

Stay in room 206! My husband and I came here for a "babymoon." I was about 20 weeks pregnant, and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot to relax and enjoy. The location of the hotel is ideal. In the middle of a quiet, yet happening part of town. We were able to be away from the crowds,... more

My husband and I have just spent 3 nights, over Valentines Day in Hotel Maximillion. Can't really fault the hotel apart from the honest bar prices when we checked out, very, very expensive. The location is superb, just 5 mins to old town square, and there's a couple of really good bars just a few doors away. The breakfast was... more

This hotel was really a wonderful find in Prague. I stayed here with a friend in 2006, after spending a lot of time researching places to stay. It is in the old part of town, which is ideal really - it is very quiet, so you can have a great night's sleep, but it is also round the corner from... more
