Staying in this hotel spoilt mine and my boyfriends holiday. The room was dirty and smelt of stale smoke and there were smokers stains on the walls and the bathroom was basic with a trickling shower. The foyer and halls were depressing and dark from the dated decor. The breakfast room was not nice either, we were served rubber cheese... more

We stayed in this hotel the first nine days of August. The hotel is in a good position and the tram to go downtown (venceslao square) are very numerous and on time. Reception is open 24h/24h, that's good. Receptionists are friendly (except a young one), and help you giving information about the city. Very useful is the pc with free... more

I stayed here for just 2 nights. The hotel is in a reasonable location, just walk up the hill 200m and catch a tram easily. It is about a 20 or 30 minute walk to the centre of Prague. There are a few good restaurants nearby too. The fact it has an elevator is a definite plus. The cobbled street... more

I''ve just come back from Prague where I stayed 4 days with my boyfriend. We booked Hotel Bily Lev through the Internet, and we were worried because we read that check in begins at 2 pm. But as we arrived on 11 am, the receptionist was very kind and assured us a free room within 30 minutes. In the meanwhile... more

We`ve just came back from Prague. The hotel is very good for the price you pay. The staff very helpful and friendly, we`ve booked a room with double bed, but on arrival the receptionist told us that there was only a room with 2 separate beds free, and as compensation he gave us immediately a bottle of sparkling wine. The... more

Stayed at BILY LEV from 3/4 - 3/5/07. Clean and well presented, comfortable and helpful staff. No bar,but the Churchill 200 yds down on the way into town is good for a drink. As per previous comments breakfast is continental, ham, cheese, sausages, rolls, meats, cereals, yoghurts--enough to start you up for the day and then a 25 minute walk down... more

Just returned from the Bily Lev a couple of days ago. At the moment the road outside the hotel is full of roadworks and if you are in the front of the hotel (as we were) you maybe woken very early in the morning with the drilling. Hopefully it woke be there for to much longer. The location was about... more

We stayed in March for four nights and found it to be a really good hotel. It is in a good location, close to the centre and shopping and was a good place to set out on daily walks. Room was very clean and quiet and the breakfast excellent. When you are tired of all the historical monuments, there are... more

Not a place I would recommend. My room was tiny and smelt damp, the staff were ok but overall not to friendly. The breakfast left a lot to be desired I really can't say much more, there are much better hotels than this in Prague that are in the same price bracket. more
