I stayed here for 1 week. If it wasn't for the bad service, I would have rated it 5. Pros: - location is central, at a walking distance to major tourist attractoins of the old city. 2-5 minutes walk to metro station (depending on which line you need) - rooms are nice and in good conditions - a recommended cafe... more

i was at praha just for discovering the city.. i was planning to stay at comfortable hotel, which has nice beds, nice breakfast, nice location...etc... i have really satisfied by mercure hotel... only the location is a little bit far away from the touristic area(10min by walking) but very closer to the commercial area... hotel is just next of the... more

I have stayed 2 nights and 3 days at this lovely hotel. Mercure Old Town has a perfect location if you visiting Prague first time. Every detail of Old City is in your walk distance. My room was at the corner and very nice decorated. Bathroom was also very luxury when compare with other 4 star hotels. Housekeeping facilities were... more

We were given a ground floor room, small but clean. The bad thing is that you can not open the window because instead of a window is a door-window. Can you imagine sleeping with a door open in the ground floor? This was very unconfortable! Also the room is behind the dining room and possibly the kitchen facing a not well... more

Me and my wife arrived here on 19th April for two nights staying in room 111. The hotel is in a good location and can be seen from the entrance to Namesti Republiky (sp?) metro station. We took the bus 100 to Metro line B which took us about 50 minutes in total and cost a total of approximately £2.... more

This was my second visit, this time for 2 nights on Sunday and Monday 13 and 14 April 2008. The hotel is situated in a converted large town house or other rather grand building. It has ornate columns, high ceilings in corridors and a rather luxurious feel. My room (101) was on the small side but had a double bed.... more

We had a most unpleasant and unacceptable experience at the Mercure Hotel in Prague. On March 27th, when we returned to the hotel in the evening, I put away the sofa bed my daughter was using because housekeeping had not done it for 2 days in a row. The next day, March 28th, when we returned to the hotel in... more

My wife and I stayed here for a week at the end of February '08. If you're going to stay here, be sure to request a room that doesn't face the street, as it is very noisy in the mornings. The breakfast was very good. The price was good, but we booked as a package deal (that included breakfast). The... more

My wife and I stayed at the Mercure from 24th Feb to 27th Feb. If you enjoy staying in an interesting building with history and character, plus a convenient tourist location, the Mercure fits the bill. However, it is not a building designed as an hotel and therefore has some quirks - if you're looking for a full 4-star experience... more

We spent 3 days in Prague (Feb 2008) with three of our friends. When planning this trip we tried to reserve other hotels that were ranked higher. However, we needed three rooms and availability was limited for us as we wanted to balance location and our budget. During our stay we were lucky to have good weather and it is... more
