This is such a gem of a hotel, it is not expensive and in a great location. For the economic, twentysomething traveler, it was perfect. Good breakfast, comfortable bed, large room, and a great view. On top of that, the staff was great, and really helpful getting us a taxi and giving general advice. I would definitely recommend. more

The kampa garden offers great value for money. At £25 pppn it's better than any travelodge, especially for families with teenagers (as they need a seperate room!). Clean and tidy ans very very convenient. Service at reception is good. Breakfast could be better as the choice is limited. The service at breakfast is slow and you have to ask for... more

I know that it's been a long time since my wife and I stayed at Kampa Garden, but better late than never ;-) We really enjoyed our stay at Kampa Garden, and we are definately going to stay at Kampa Garden the next time we are coming to Prague - thats for sure. It was very quiet, the room was... more

Our 3 night stay at the Kampa Garden was excellent! Great location with easy walks to restaurants, bars, Charles Bridge, and trams. (Don't miss the Lennon Wall directly behind the hotel.) Room was reasonable size (huge bathroom), clean and quiet with windows that actually opened for fresh air. Beds were hard but after 10 hours on an airplane, probably did... more

There's no argument with the other reviews. This was an excellent location for walking the old town and the castle area. We were told the restaurants on the far side of the Charles Bridge were less expensive, but we enjoyed the Italian place around the corner. Try to get the rooms overlooking the embassy gardens (01, 02, 03) for quiet... more

We booked a short stay at this hotel in the spring 2007. Having read the reviews on tripadvisor we had high expectations, and we were certainly not disappointed ! The location is absolutely excellent. Its right next to Charles Bridge and the location Kampa Island is really charming with its old houses and parks. There are some nice restaurants within... more

We have been to many cities in Europe and Prague by far tops the list. Kampa Island is perfect, quiet but with plenty to do. The Czech people make this place, they are so generous and many are quite intrigued by all the people that travel to their city. They are very proud people and very enjoyable to talk to...many... more

This hotel is in the perfect location being just a minutes walk from Charles Bridge on the picturesque but tranquil Kampa Island. It's rooms either overlook a quite square or the offshoot of the Vlatva that seperates Kampa Island from the mainland. The staff were without exception friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Rooms are very well maintained (it... more

This is a very nice hotel but with a couple of easy touches, it could be better. The staff are very helpful, rooms clean and functional, but could do with a mirror on the dressing table (my better half tells me) plus there are no tea/coffee facilities. The best thing about this hotel is the location, it is in the... more

One of the nicest things about this hotel is its location. It is a stone's throw from the famous Charles Bridge but in a very quiet street. It is less than two minutes' walk in one direction to Na Kampe which boasts some good restaurants, and less than two minutes' walk in the other direction is Kampa park with lovely... more
