Dom Harcerza is one of the cheapest places(120 zl a night for a twin room) to stay in the Old Town (actually called the Main Town) of Gdansk if you don't want to stay in a dorm. In terms of facilities it is more like a hostel than a hotel. It is open all year unlike a lot of the... more

Dom Harcerza is a guest house , quaint and nothing special to talk home about. Nobody in the hotel speaks English not even the receptionists, all of whom are monolingual. Some of the rooms are over a cinema complex and so beware! Other rooms are located in a medieval tower, some metres away. Huge rooms, tiny tower windows, thick walls... more
