Living on a past reputation..Obliging but wooden staff.Very dated rooms..where is this fabulous refurb the hotel web site describes?A classic example of the old eastern block hotel.Solid but drab.Hot water tepid...shower screen falling off the wall...toilet seat disgusting ...whole bathroom desperate for a refit.Public rooms needed hoovering.Bedroom ok (room 305 ), comfortable and well cleaned.Dreadful lighting.Corridors soul less.Don't try the... more

A few weeks ago, we went to Krakow and we loved it!!! Beautiful city, warm people and many lovely cafes, restaurants and bars. Elektor hotel is in a super great location!! We booked annex apartment number 3 through Active Hotels. It was without a hitch. Being the first time we have travelled independently we were expecting nightmares at every turn and rip offs at every stage. Just returned from a 4 day break, we were treated like royalty literally, on our arrival given the royal suite at no extra cost. Staff very polite and helpful, restaurant excellant. Great central location, wouldn't hesitate to go back. more

Our first vist to Krakow. Massive 2nd floor room with a seperate bedroom with two English TV channels. 2 blocks away from the central town square (Rynek) but inside park ring (Planty). Easy walking distance from the train station. Our room had large bright windows that opened wide for air. The narrow streets around the hotel were busy with people... more

I booked 3 suites at this hotel as a special treat for the family. My mother is 83 and was looking forward to returning to her native Poland. I have just returned from Krakow, which is excellent for a long weekend, and our enjoyment was enhanced by this excellent hotel. We did not stay in the main hotel, but the "annex" which is located just down the street. This was cheaper than staying in the main hotel. Great location. Only 3 minutes walk from the square. massive room. (2 rooms as well as seperate toilet and bathroom). Very helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel. Very good breakfast (continental + eggs, etc) more
