Stayed at Marriott last time, but Sobieski is less than half the price and closer to my customer. Booked late on a last minute trip and stayed for a week on business. Got a good rate at $128 a night. Hotel is on the way into town from airport so access back to airport is easy. 5 minutes from train... more

Stayed here for 10 nights in March 2008. Paid GBP 56 per night (B&B) which is a good rate for a Warsaw 4* hotel. I booked via Hotelopia. Good points: 1) Central location 2) Excellent (and free) fitness centre 3) Friendly service 4) Excellent breakfast (huge choice) Bad points: 1) Internet access very expensive (PLN 65 per day in room,... more

Having travelled to many former Iron Curtain countries, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Unlike the former comment, we found great service with a smile, an excellent room (527) non smoking. Cleaned to a high standard each day. Ample coffee at breakfast and a large supply of food. The location was perfect for transport, the 175 bus stop right outside the... more

This hotel is very over-rated. It is not 4 star quality - rather a low 3 stars, max. The service is curt and generally unfriendly. The interior is very dated. Cleanliness is average to below average. Note there is NO SAFE in the room to lock up valuables. Mini bar is VERY expensive. The included breakfast has enourmous selection but... more

This is a quite large hotel which must be ripe for development with the Polish growing economy. The hotel is clean but the rooms are looking a little dated now. The staff are more brusque than friendly. The breakfast is good and the price very fair for a comfortable city centre hotel €95./night more

We arrieved in Warsaw by Easyjet from Bristol on 11 December. The bus trip from the Airport was like being packed into a sardine tin. On arrival at the hotel the greeting was fine and we were quickly booked in at reception and went up to our room which was nicely laid out clean and warm over looking the garden.... more

Initial appearance of the hotel - very grand, smart but exterior walls painted in some lurid multi-colours shouldn't distract you from what is essentially a very classy hotel. On arrival, a vast open marbled floored reception greets you, all very clean with bronzed and gold trim but not OTT. We booked 9 twin rooms for 2 nights for the 18... more

Myself & my boyfriend spend a lovely 3 night break at this hotel. The room was so spacious & very very comfortable. The hotel provided free internet in the rooms which was a bonus for us. Very central for shopping. There was a huge shopping centre about 10 mins walk from the hotel. It is situated on a busy roundabout,... more

Arrived at the hotel expecting to see a brash, gaudy Vegas style hotel after reading other reviews but in reality it was just like a piece of fairy cake. Once inside though you are treated like old friends. (Must be the austrian in fluence as the hotel is now part of an austrian chain) Excellent room and facilities. I recommend... more

This is the third time I stay in this hotel, and I have been satisfied every time. Rooms are big and clean. Location could be better if you are a tourist, but there are bus stops right outside the door, with buses frequently taking you to the Old Town as well as other parts of Warsaw. Its within walking distance... more
