Excellent 4* hotel situated at the bottom of the main ski slope. Excellent compact rooms. Fabulous pool complex and health spa, excellent food. Very helpful staff more

Loved the Larix it had everything you needed. Nice room, good wholesome food, slopes out the back and the wellness centre all for an excellent price. The only downfall for us was the lack of snow and the resort was very quiet, the night life could be better for the youngsters, they found it a bit boring but us oldies... more

Stayed here for one week, first time in Slovenia. Hotel is in a perfect location for skiing - just open the back door and you are on the slopes. The Larix is not luxurious but is comfortable, clean and friendly. The staff are really helpful and the food is fine - Slovenian food is, we found, stodgy and erm filling... more

We travelled with First choice from Glasgow to Salzburg with a 3.5hr transfer by bus, and whilst this would probably normally raise a few eyebrows, we hardly noticed the time, with the excitement and a half hour pitstop at a nice wee service station. Myself and my family have been to the hotel larix 3 times and it will be our fourth stay this year. We love the resort Kranjska Gora but the location of the Larix tops the whole experience. You can wake up, have breakfast and be out on the slopes within 20 minutes. We have had no problems with the hotel... more

tavelled to hotel larix in feb 2007. excellent hotel and food great.going back again in dec 2007. no building work as on some reviews but excellent swimming and sauna facilities. very good childrens resorts and friendley community. the hotel over looks the snowy mountains and scenic ski slopes would recomend this hotel no problem more
