We decided to take advantage of the lower prices in Tallin compared with Sweden and Finland and to stay in a somewhat more luxurious hotel. The Baltic Hotel Imperial did not disappoint. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished, and the large, modern bathroom featured a huge bathtub. Breakfast offered the usual spread of food, but served in more pleasant... more

Charming hotel on the edge of the old town area. Staff friendly & the reception was run very efficiently. Tastefully renovated to blend into the old town wall. However, an important part of a hotel stay, are the beds. I found the beds here, uncomfortable, not supportive & had a very thin mattress. Also no wardrobe to hang your clothes-just... more

We decided to book this hotel after reading reviews on trip advisor and weren't at all disappointed. Our stay was over a weekend outside the peak summer season so we weren't troubled by noisy passers by. The hotel staff were friendly, the breakfasts were good and our room was spacious and comfy, with very a comfortable bed. The hotel location... more

This is a really nice hotel centrally but quietly located. I have seen other reviews criticising breakfast but when I was there it was great. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room didn't have a bath which is perhaps unusual for a four star hotel more

My husband and I stayed here for one night in March 2008. We were allocated a room on the second floor (Room 204) overlooking the main street below. The room was very light and exceptionally clean. It turned out to be a single (wheelchair accessible) room after we noticed that the bed was not a full double and there was... more

Stayed here March 5th to 8th and can confirm other reviewers opinions that this is a very good hotel. Service very good, room very good (ask for 3rd floor), lovely breakfast. Hotel bar was quiet but very pleasant. The location is perfect. From the hotel it is literally a 3 minute downhill stroll to the Town Square. Or you can... more

Just returned from an amazing weekend in Talinn staying at the Imperial Hotel. This hotel is within 5 minutes of the Town Hall Square and Toompea Hill with all its amazing architecture. The staff were very friendly and polite and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was brilliant and the food in St Michaels Cheese Resturant is to die for!!!... more

We were in Tallinn at the Baltic Hotel Imperial on 23 & 24 Feb. We had reserved a quiet, non-smoking, double room. They gave us a suite. It was clean, quiet, lovely. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet had something for both our tastes. The city was tourist friendly with pleasant restaurants, interesting shops, lovely streets, and... more

Booked this as a flight + hotel deal on expedia.co.uk after reading reviews on tripadvisor. Wasn't disappointed, we walked from the bus stop at the main shopping centre (which is the opposite side of Old Town) great location in old town, handy for the port, good for going up the hill, or in to the square. Brick walls in the... more

The Baltic Imperial is a nice hotel that is in an ideal location for exploring Tallinn Old Town, it is comfortable, the food is good and the staff are polite and helpful, but..... The room we had was cramped, it overlooked a yard at the back which was noisey so we had some early mornings and a very unattractive outlook.... more
