Had a 2night stopover in Trinidad, certainly the best hotel we stayed in on our trip across the Island, but it does have a European feel to it. Superb location in the centre of the city, and we had a room with a huge terrace over the parque cespedes. Had a "boutique hotel" feel about it - small but well run, with good attention to detail. Bar/restaurant didn't have much in the way of atmosphere, but I don't know why anyone would be hanging around in the hotel... more
