I enjoyed my stay ot the Channel Inn. When we arrived, we discovered we had reserved our room to check in the following day, but they were very helpful and added the extra night at the previously arranged rate and checked us straight in. I found this budget hotel on the southwest waterfront to be lovely and charming. Our room had a view of the Potomac. We had our bicycles and from the hotel, we biked around the Smithsonian Mall and beyond. The hotel was basic, but for us, the location was ideal. more
