The Topaz is a nice hotel, a little off the beaten path but very close to DuPont metro, restaurants, etc. We had actually stayed in this building before prior to renovation - what a difference. Stayed here for a conference the week of March 3rd. Our group had 5 rooms. All of us enjoyed our stay and the accomodations at the hotel. The hotel and staff are wonderful with spacious rooms, great bed (the pillows could be better, but that's the only flaw I found) and friendly staff.
