Yes, the lobby is a disaster and getting in and out of the hotel is like following a maze. However, we only paid $65 through priceline and didn't have our car and the room , fitness room and pool were splendid so I am not going to complain. However, if I were paying full price, had to pay for parking... more

We satyed at this hotel last weekend, 8/22 --8/24. They are doing some major renovations to the lobby. We still had a great stay. The bellhop met our taxi and carried everything down to the lobby (it can be a bit confusing at first, because of the construction). Checkin was a breeze, they asked about our room preference, and were... more

This hotel is a short 5 minute walk up E Street to the Metro at Union Station. The homeless shelter other reviews mention is on D Street. The only time we went past this was in the cab on the way to the hotel. The rooms were larger than I expected, comfortable & clean. My only beef is they were... more

I used to live in the area and regularly attended meetings and events held there by a local special interest group. I also stayed there a few times only because it was a host hotel for an annual convention conducted by the aforementioned special interest group. Anyway, the place is conveniently located near the capitol and Union Station, the rooms... more

This hotel was OK for me my wife and grand daughters. The lobby was a mess. However signs and personnel when all around. We had no trouble getting to check in. Check in was a little rough because of noise but timely. Check out was a little rougher. There were at least three conventions in the hotel. I checked out... more

This three day stay was a mixture of positives and negatives that balanced the stay to a neutral rating. As others have mentioned, the hotel is under renovation, and not just a little here and there...I mean major. Dust, noise, partioned corridors, construction guys, and extended waits for the elevators, as one side is out of order and blocked off.... more

We were unhappily surprised with several things. Paying $45.92 per night to park the car was a little above expectations. Would have appreciated being informed of this when the reservation was booked. Another surprise was not getting clean towels daily. Come on, when you are paying $841.95 for 2 people for 3 nights, you expect clean towels! We followed instructions... more

The motel was beautiful but for the price my company I expected something more. I know that because I was staying in DC that we wasnt going to find cheap. Where I'm from you can find get a hotel for $100/night with a tub, coffee pot, microwave, etc. This one had nothing. Plus they was doing construction outside and it... more

The valet was very accommodating. He immediately informed me that parking was $41 plus tax! This is the cost of a meal out for our family (2 because we were staying 2 nights) and I prefer to self-park anyway because with 3 kids, we have so much more than just suitcases to unload. The valet said there was a safe... more

We came here for Thanksgiving weekend and were very pleased. The Thanksgiving buffet was quite wonderful, allowing 5 different family members to eat to suit our individual special interests….and no cooking or clean-up for anyone. Our room was clean, quiet and well furnished. Our only complaint was the breakfast buffets over the two mornings; the food was fine, but the... more
