I travel frequently to Washington D.C and have stayed in some beautiful properties. I am also a very particular traveler and expect much from hotels that tout themselves as service-driven. The Park Hyatt will now by one of my first choices in accommodations in D. C. The service was impeccable, the room was exactly as pictured and described. It was... more

The Park Hyatt in Georgetown is truly a great hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff was extremely receptive and helpful. We stayed there on New Year's Eve as a treat for ourselves. When we checked in, they upgraded us to a Park Suite. The room was HUGE. You enter into a family room area with several modern sofa's... more

My husband and I spent a week at this hotel as part of our honeymoon. The staff and service were some of the best we've experienced in all our travels around the world. Despite being a chain hotel (something we usually loathe) this hotel has a very personal feel. The staff are incredibly friendly and unfailingly helpful. They appear to... more

Just came back from a Park Suite and all I can say is WOW! Exceptional experience from the wonderful, warm and friendly doorman, to all of the other staff and the magnificent suite. The suite cost us a mere 6,000 Hyatt points as an upgrade and was among the best values I have ever received. The suite included a living... more

just spent a weekend at this property and was overall very happy. We had a Park Deluxe room which was spacious with a sitting area and bedroom. The bed was fabulous. The decor of the room was very modern and sparse but nice. The bathroom was great - very nice soaking tub and open shower which was interesting. Housekeeping was... more

Absolutely lovely hotel, but you can almost miss it from the street(our cab driver did!) It is across the street from the Fairmont in Foggy Bottom. Great location, quiet but close to everything. We booked the large king room with a separate living area, very modern, clean, comfortable. Food in Blue Duck Tavern was wonderful, service in restaurant and front desk was... more

Washington DC is infamous for its wide variety of upscale hotels, most of which maintain ties to their historic past. The Park Hyatt Washington DC however defies this rule by introducing a hotel that might be one of DC's trendiest. In 2006, the entire hotel received a 24 Million Dollar floor to ceiling renovation, which now delivers a product that... more

The hotel was very nice and the service extremely professional. Check in was very smooth and efficient. I did not make the reservations- a firm I was visiting handled all my travel. I was given an upgraded suite and it was fabulous. Huge and nicely decorated in a very sleek modern kind of way- not my thing but still it... more

I recently stayed at this hotel while visiting colleges with my daughter. I used Hyatt Passport points to pay, so I can't comment on value for money, since for me the value was perfect, ie free. I can say that the location was excellent for visiting the two colleges mentioned, and that the neighborhood in general is a nice one.... more

We have stayed at this hotel several times while visiting our daughter who is a student at Georgetown. Having stayed here before the renovation and after, I can say with a great deal of conviction that they really spruced the place up! The rooms and the service were top notch. We enjoyed the afternoon tea. The hotel is convenient to... more
