After much research about bidding on priceline, I decided to go for it and I ended with The Madison. It was great! The service was good. The room was very nice and clean. The flat screen and the massage chair were a big +++++. The concierge was very helpful. Just a wonderful overall experience! more

This hotel had an attractive lobby and especially good service from the bell staff and registration desk. I had heard they were in the process of renovating so I asked if I could be placed in a renovated room. The room seemed clean but the wallpaper was already peeling and the shower and toilet seemed to be quite dated. My... more

This hotel was recomended to us by a friend who is a regular. I could not believe how great the service was from the minute we pulled up until we were in our car to go back home. We came to DC for a baby shower and had to assemble or gift when we got there, so we had a... more

We planned our New Year's Eve wedding at this hotel and everything from the service, to room reservations to staff was unprofessional. We would have never expected poor quality service from what was suppose to be an 4-5 star hotel in the DC area. Thank GOD our honeymoon was fabulous. more

Called ahead and requested a room with two beds. Upon arrival they did not have any available and seemed not to care. I was behind a lady that had requested two beds with a view. She was lucky. They had two beds for her. She had a view of a wall and the air conditioning units. They did nothing for... more

Up front, I will say that I booked this hotel through Priceline, so did not know where I would be staying until my offer was accepted. That said, I bid on a "4 star" property in downtown DC, which is the highest star echelon for that area -- so, expectations were high. My wife, daughter and I stayed one night,... more

Excellent hotel for us. Very dog friendly as all Loews hotels. Staff very friendly from the doorman to the clerk to the wait staff. Hotel was decorated beautifully for the holidays. I would definitely stay again. more

I once lived in DC and remember the Madison as one of DC's great smaller hotels, popular with diplomats and the like. I was pleased to secure a room here via priceline for a 2 night stay at a most reasonable rate in December. From the moment I arrived, the service was everything one could hope for. The doormen grabbed... more

We planned a 3 day weekend in DC with our dog. "Lowes loves pets" is what sold us on the Madison. We arrived after dark on the first night. We had reserved a penthouse room with a terrace for over $500/night. It had been raining in DC that day and we noticed that the water was beginning to pool against... more

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and the service has always been wonderful. On my recent stay the service and quality of the rooms had definitely slipped. As we checked in, we were made to wait for about 30 minutes while the NY Giants used all the elevators. That's fine but we were there before... more
