As a family with a 4 years old toddler, suite hotels are our preferred choices, since having a kitchen and refrigerator makes meal arrangement much simpler - we don't have to plan for breakfast in the morning or worry about kid getting hungry at night. For the location, it's about 2 miles drive to Disneyland. This is not a problem... more

We spent 3 nights here to meet my daughter and go to Disneyland for her birthday. Very nice - but be very sure you ask for a quiet room (away from the railroad tracks) which are behind the property. We usually stay at the DoubleTree down the road but as much as we love that hotel, this one has some advantages. First of all the full kitchen is wonderful and there are many restaurants right out in the parking lot! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable and clean. All for about 1/2 the price of the DBT. more

We stayed here for a week in July. A nice, clean, safe/secure property. Our one bedroom suite was plenty big for the two of us and the room windows faced E. Katella Ave (shopping center side)--I never heard the train whistle. Front desk staff were friendly when answering my tourist questions. Hotel is close to disneyland (shuttle at hotel) and across the street from Angels stadium (walk). If your main reason for visit is Hollywood/Los Angeles, then stay closer due to consistant - heavy traffic which could be an hour each way. Approx. 30 min. to Laguna/ Huntington/Newport beaches depending on traffic. Better after 10am with return before 3pm or after... more

Stayed here when I took the kids to Disneyland. I heard the train whistle twice but it was very faint. Room was clean and modern and includes a great kitchen with full utensils. Appreciated the housekeeping when the kids' washroom mess was cleaned up. Newspaper at your door every morning. Shuttle service was great - took 10-15 mins to Disneyland.... more

OK there's an occasional train whistle in the morning and at night - but it's not all night and day plus not like the movies where you're shaken from one side of the room to the other. My wife is a very light sleeper and hardly noticed the trains which were only short commuter trains. We stayed 7/8 to 7/13... more
