I booked this hotel based on reviews from Trip Advisor. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Although the motel was almost full the night we were there, I didn't hear any noise from other guests. The breakfast was nice, but there is not much seating. They even had tasty chocolate chip cookies at check in. more

We were in Arcata for a baseball tourney. Stayed for 2 nights. The outside of the property needs a little work, but the rooms are large and clean. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The complimentary breakfast was awesome! Make-your-own waffles, pastries, cereal, bagels, toast, muffins, hard boiled eggs. fruit, yogurt, several coffees -hazelnut, vanilla, decaf, regular-with creamers (coffee... more

My business stay at the Best Western Arcata Inn was very satisfactory. The front desk was attentive to my particular needs regarding room arrangement as well as Internet connectivity, a necessary matter in client dealings. The hotel was in a transition period of Internet service and the staff insured that my lodging could reach the wireless. The housekeeping staff was... more

We were happy to stay at this hotel. The room was large and had a mini-fridge, which is always a nice feature. We didn't have a problem with the noise in this hotel but I could see it being a problem considering the hotel is built in a motel-style way. The pool was a disapointment. It was "indoor/outdoor", which ment... more

The rooms were clean and spacious, the complimentary breakfast was great, (lots of variety), but unfortunately, none of us got a wink of sleep. The walls are so thin, you hear EVERY sound made in the rooms next to you and outside. We had the unfortunate experience of staying there on a night where some fellow guests of the hotel... more

We stayed here in Sept 2006 just as a stop on our journey up to the Oregon Coast. What a pleasant surprise! The front desk staff was very friendly, the room was about what you would expect from a Best Western, but clean and big. The breakfast was wonderful - waffles, bagels, cereal, and all kinds of bread and toast.... more

The hotel was booked almost everynight of my 2 week stay! While the others around it had rooms still. Dollar for dollar it cost more than the others but was nice and worth the extra money. Average BW I spend about $79 to $89 a night, this one was $109, but there is a University 1 exit up and I... more

Stay somewhere else. This is a below average place with a staff that likes levy charges without quoting, then won't stand behind their own confirmed reservation. more

Inspect your room and furniture closely, my credit card was charged for table edge coming loose that we knew nothing about. I feel ripped off. more

Nice Best Western property with a very nice semi-indoor pool and a hot tub. Everything is dated, but well-maintained. Very friendly staff that gave me a lot of advice about the area. Large choice of breakfast items. more
