Arrived tired, but excited! Never been to Belize before. Met up with 4 friends to charter a 40 ft. cat. The hotel was perfect. clean and simple. Good air conditioner, friendly people. The security guy wear all black and lurks about at night under the balconies on the beach. It totally ruins the experience and the view. Walked into this hotel. Returning to Belize in April with the University of Virginia's Cavalier Travels program but will probably not stay in this hotel. For $85 US I thought that it was a bit expensive for what you get. Really just a budget hotel at non-budget price. Simple clean room with Air conditioning (Very important in Belize). No TV.... more

This was a great hotel for the price. It was right on the beach, in the middle of town and had decent rooms. We had friends who stayed in one of the upstairs rooms in the main building -- and that was really nice. Our room was basic and clean. I would definitely stay there again. more
