We stayed here for one night in March 2008. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are a bit small but very nice, and the restaurants were good. The only thing that even resembles a complaint is that the woman at the concierge desk was either unable or unwilling to give us non-tour related information. Fortunately, one of the guys who help... more

Being the #1 rated hotel does not necessarily mean it's #1 for everyone as we found out during our 3 day stay at the Westin. Upon arrival on Saturday the lobby was full of adopting families...and then also the pool and spa area...all full of children. Plus every lounge chair was taken on all 3 days we were there. Hardly... more

We just visited this resort 5 nights while on a visit trip to meet our child we are adopting. First of all the staff was very friendly. The lobby and restaurants were updated, but the guest rooms were not to the level as other Westin's we have been to, but they were still nice. We stayed on the family floor,... more

My husband and I travelled last March for the second time to Guatemala City. During our first stay, we stayed at the Marriot, because we had surfed the adoption websites and thought it would be the most family friendly. After styaing at the Marriot and the Westin, we strongly recommend the Westin. The location was great, the ambience was regal... more

I stayed at this westin for my trip to a friend's wedding. The rooms are bit small compared to other hotels in guatemala but they were luxuriusly appointed. The beds (the heavenly bed) is great, soft pillow, high thread count sheets. The same with towels and the overall amenities in the bathroom. Although the hotel is really big we received... more

We found the Westin Camino Real in Guatemala a great place to stay. We will stay there again if we ever get back to Guatemala. The service was excellent, the rooms well appointed and cozy, the staff very attentative, helpful and friendly. There are several restuarants to choose from and the food was exceptional -- American food as well as... more

Stayed here for one night. What a wonderful hotel! Extremely Clean and comfortable. Beautiful Pool Area. Great Restaurants within walking distance. I did not try any of the hotel restaurants so I cannot give my opinion but I walked by them and the food smelled delicious!!! Really short stay, but I was very pleased. Oh yeah I got some slippers... more

My husband and I stayed at the Westin Camino Real while on a visit trip to see our son that we are adopting. The hotel lobby is quite pretty and the entire staff is welcoming and helpful. Most of the staff is fluent in English, so we didn't have to speak much Spanish. The room was a good size and... more

The hotel itself is beautiful (not much to look at from the outside). The lobby, restaurants, pool area, and rooms were all very nice and very clean. The gym was one of the nicest and biggest I've ever seen in a hotel. The bathroom was very small....beds are the BEST. Love their heavenly bed. We slept like babies. Aside from... more
