Beautiful resort, in a wonderful, secluded bay. The cottages are very big (we were a couple with two bedrooms!) and perfectly furnished. The wonderful thing is that they are completely sourrended by a luxuriant tropical vegetation. The food of the restaurant is very good and the service excellent! Great the Honduras buffet one day a week! The beach is beautiful,... more

The quiet and beautiful Garden Environment was food for the soul. The clean, serene beach was a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. But you can get that at most any reputable Resort. What made Palmetto Bay Plantation a special, "I wanna go back there" place was there staff and their excellent food. My hat is off... more

Recently returned from a one week stay at the Palmetto Bay Plantation (PBP). As one of a party of 5 travelers, we each had our own agendas for the visit. We rented a 3 bedroom villa which opened up to the beach. The views were wonderful. For our adventures, we went on the nearby zipline tour, traveled to the West... more

Our stay at the Palmetto Bay Plantation was absolutely perfect. Not only did the resort have a pool, bar, restaurant, scuba and snorkeling, yoga, and a breathtaking view of the ocean; the workers and usual residents were extremely nice! Our stay couldn't have been anymore perfect. On top of it all we stayed at the adorable A6 house on the... more

We stayed at Palmetto Bay with the large group of 50+ present for a wedding, and absolutely loved the entire week. The staff were friendly and unobtrusive. The resorts special attention to detail was very much appreciated. For instance, the beach was raked daily, and fresh flowers were placed in the house every morning. There was a small tub of... more

Where to begin... When my husband and I got engaged I thought I wanted the traditional "to-do" wedding back home, but the more we talked about what felt special to us we realized that we had to do a sunset beach destination wedding. I was a little standoffish about this idea at first because I wanted the traditional wedding, but... more

Palmetto Bay Plantation is a great place to stay in Roatan. It is in the middle of the Island, not on the West End where most of the action is. If you want secluded beaches - you got it at Palmetto Bay Plantation. Choose this location if you want to chill out - it is very peaceful. The sand flies... more

We just returned from a week at the Palmetto Bay Plantation. We were there with a very large group for a wedding. The resort property and the villas were beautiful. Resort The resort is hidden away from the crowds. We were completely happy with the property. The place is well maintained. The beach is clean and stretches on for miles.... more

Last month, me, my fiance and 26 of my family members and friends took a trip to Roatan Honduras. We were set to get married. The Plantation is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. The best way to visualize how nice this place looked is to compare it to a Corona beer commerical (Which we took some pictures with Corona). Everything went 100% perfect,... more
