A group of friends and I planned a short trip to Six Flags to take advantage of a coupon and found this great hotel room. I am not a picky travelor, but my friend is VERY picky (always brings his own sheets and will not touch the comforters on the beds at most places). He is difficult to please and... more

We stayed at Wingate Inn at Six Flags past weekend when visiting Six Flags. The hotel is a walking distance from the park and offered free parking that saved us $15. It is a newer hotel with clean rooms, comfortable beds and all the amenities that one would want in a room- including safe, microwave and fridge. The pool was... more

Booked a room after reading review. Room subpar, not worth rate charged. Room not clean, breakfast subpar, sheets and towels dirty. Would not recommend, would not stay here again. more

This is a wonderful hotel, and very well kept. The room was in excellent condition and very clean. The property is within walking distance to Six Flags, and you can stay parked at the hotel, and avoid the 15.00 parking charge at Six Flags. The breakfast buffet was fair. Not that great, just fair. I would stay here again on... more

I chose the Wingate for my overnight trip to Six Flags this past summer because of the reviews on this website and the pictures available on the website compared to the other hotels in the area. I wasn't dissapointed! The hotel room was a good size and it was very clean. It must be a newer hotel. It was the... more

We stayed at the Wingate near Six Flags over Georgia for two nights Aug 3rd & 4th and we loved it. They had a great complimentary breakfast with waffles, sausage biscuits, etc. The room was very clean with nice decor. The walk to Six Flags was just down the road. We would definitely stay here again. more

This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. It was clean, the rooms were large, and it was an easy walk to Six Flags. We left the park to go to our rooms several times. Also there is a Wendy's within walking distance--we were able to go get food and meet our son right outside the Six Flags... more

My children and I have just returned from a weekend visit to Six Flags over Labor Day weekend. Wingate is easily within walking distance of Six Flags. The rooms were clean, attractive, and comfortable. I used their office area to research something on the web. NOTE: Use of office is free, but use of computer in room is NOT free.... more

This property just opened in 2003 so it's brand new. Even though I have not stayed here I can tell you from experience with the two motels/hotels next door (Sleep Inn and Days Inn) that it has to be 100 times beter than those places. We tried the Sleep Inn in 2002 and because of the problems there decided to... more
