Riad Norma is an artistic oasis within the bustling ancient city of Fes. We spent three nights there during the height of summer and enjoyed hot days getting lost on winding millenia-old streets in the old city and refreshing afternoon swims in the beautiful riad pool. The 'riad' is a century-old family mansion arranged around a courtyard and garden, complete... more

Riad Norma was a remarkable place! From a very modest street, we entered a beautiful residence covered in hand carved tile mosaics and plaster reliefs! Monique was a gracious and generous host. Abdelkader was incredibly kind and the food was the most remarkable we had on our stay! If you stay here, you must eat here too! My fiance and... more

We have just returned from 5 days in Fes. We arrived at Riad Norma as guests and left as friends. Monique Devaux has restored her riad with exquisite taste, style and bon chic. The result is not just a hotel but a home made with passion, which makes it a wonderful place to stay in Fes. We could not have... more

We stayed at Riad Norma in December. It was an absolutely beautiful amazing Riad. I had contacted them by email about 6 months before my trip and they were most helpful in arranging things, giving me advice and answering any questions that I had. They definately had a very personal touch which was wonderful as I had never been to... more

Riad Norma took us in on New Year's Eve after a reservation snafu left us "Riad"-less in Fes. The Riad itself is a terrific example of beautiful Moroccan craftsmanshiip. It's mosaics and other hand work are as good as you will find anywhere. The house, bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice; and the linens are first rate. Monique, the owner... more

Overall this is a great Riad. The Decor is wonderful, it's location is very handy for the Medina and the food and hospitality help make this excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend to anyone. more

Riad Norma is a gorgeous place to stay. We stayed in the Suite Manon for part of our honeymoon in Morocco and it was a phenomenal place to stay. The high ornate ceilings left the room nice and cool during the warm October days. The decor was beautiful all around and it was so nice to spend some time in... more

Absolutely stunning riad on the edge of the medina (old town) in Fes. Beautifully restored and managed with loving care by Monique and her team. This is a wonderful location and only about 15 minutes' walk from the old souk. It is up a back street which is dirty and dusty and you would not believe when the door opens... more

A great place to relax. The staff is extremely friendly and make you feel at home. They were great with our 5-year old daughter who also had lots of fun swimming and trying to become friends with the Riad's cat! The food is excellent. We ate there almost every evening. Definetely the best place to dine in Fes. more

[--] On your arrival down this small ally. Ring the bell and the door opens into a nice decorated hallway. You then walk around to this fantastic open space in the middle of the house. The detail is amazing. Then out to the garden w/very nice plunge pool. There are 7 rooms all different and very nice. The staff are... more
