[--] On your arrival down this small ally. Ring the bell and the door opens into a nice decorated hallway. You then walk around to this fantastic open space in the middle of the house. The detail is amazing. Then out to the garden w/very nice plunge pool. There are 7 rooms all different and very nice. The staff are... more

Riad Norma is the best acommodation possible - the decor, very large high-ceilinged rooms, facilities and staff service are second to none, with a much homelier feel than a 5* hotel. Monique and Abdulkadar did everything possible to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, and their chef was absolutely superb, it was an easy decision to eat there for... more

Along an unassuming street, we stopped at an unassuming front door. It opened into a becalmed, tranquil and heavenly retreat from the noise, heat and frenetic activity outside. The ambiance and decor were sublime, the attention to detail second to none. Loving care and sympathy for the architectural heritage was apparent in the hand crafted tiles, in the choice of... more

Our family trip to Morocco this past March Break was in the planning stages for almost a year. We had previously traveled with our 2 teenage boys to western europe on several occasions, but wanted to get them outside of their comfort zone and to challenge their assumptions about the world. A longtime dream of mine was to travel to... more

During our recent visit to Fez, Morocco, we received advice from friends that we must stay in Riad Norma. We had heard it was an enchanting riad with the most accommodating staff, but we had no idea how different this would be from a hotel. We were first greeted by Abdelkader who introduced himself and then wanted to know all... more

Our stay at Riad Norma was fabulous! The riad is pure elegance, the hospitality of the manager, Abdelkader, most genteel, the food scrumptious, the wine hand selected by a wine expert Monique, and the ambiance is one of tranquility and calmness. Soft, light music fills the air, while the birds sing their praises. Fresh flowers taken straight from the garden,... more

Before the summer ends, I wanted to take a second and thank Riad Norm for my fantastic stay. I knew the riad would be lovely from their website [--], but I didn't realize just how beautiful the place would be. I was also shocked by the personable staff. Never have I experineced the helpfullness that I encountered at Riad Norma.... more

After reading many reviews on riads in Fez, my daughter and I chose to stay in Riad Norma, and what an excellent choice we made. The riad is restored in true Moroccan fashion by the delightful owner, Monique, down to the finest detail, such as antique brass bathroom fixtures to small colored panes in the windows. The tiled courtyard and... more

On a recent return trip to Fez Morocco, I was obliged to stay in a well-known hotel for my first night. The greeting was cold and business like and I knew that I must return to Riad Norma, where I had spent four days last summer. When I walked inside I could feel the enchantment of the riad return to... more
