The riad itself is quite nice, but the rooms can be small and claustrophobic. As well, they need to learn how to provide better customer service. They were friendly; but definitely did not know how to run a professional establishment. more

We absolutely loved this place. It was a stunning work of art on the inside and the rooms were great. It was everything we expected and more. It is one of the few places I have ever stayed where it looked better in person than it did in the photos. The staff was freindly and helpful and the included breakfast... more

The Riad Charqi is a gem! Our family of 4 spent 3 nights there in early March and we have nothing but good things to say about this delightful riad. Lovely quiet setting and a wonderful warm staff who went out of their way to be helpful. You are an easy 10 minute walk to the souks from the Riad.... more

Our three day stay at Riad Charqi was a major highlight of our tour of Morocco. The warmth and friendliness of the staff, and the tranquil atmosphere that the riad engendered were so welcome after a frenetic day in the medina of Fes. Our room was tastefully decorated, warm and comfortable and immaculately clean. The breakfast menu varied from day... more

I totally agreed with the previous reviewer - this is a great riad, beautifully decorated, clean and well maintained, run by very friendly (and funny) staff. The suite is great - comfortable bed with nice thick blankets, a nice sitting area, clean bathroom with strong showers. There is also A/C & heater in the room. The location is great -... more

Great hospitatlity from the moment we entered. What a haven from the busy medina. Easy walking distance to all top sites in fes. Lovely attentive staff in an authentic setting. A converted mansion which has been lovingly renovated to create the perfect ambience. We stayed with our toddler (baby crib provided at no extra charge) and we felt like he... more

I only stayed here for three nights but by the time I left I really did feel at home. Hussaine, the great manager, and the other staff had all assured me 'this is your home' and they went out of their way to prove it. The food was superb, the room tastefully decorated (the owner is French and it shows!)... more

This Riad is lovely. A little removed from the medina, but in a way that is better as you leave the hustle and bustle to a calm environment. The staff in the riad are very nice and make every effort to help you out. The riad has lovely rooms, though they are a little dark. The top floors have nice... more

Lovely, peaceful and beautifully kept riad, located very centrally in the middle of the old town. Wonderful hospitality shown to us by Houssein who gave us a great welcome with a lovely cup of mint tea and looked after us for our entire stay. The breakfasts were delicious and Houssein was a brilliant help to us in advising us of... more

We stayed at Riad Charqi for 2 nights and had a great time. The Riad is a lovely oasis in a really convenient location. One of the main reasons our stay at the Riad was enjoyable was because of the manager's (Hussein) great hospitality - could not fault it at all. For example, on the first night we couldn't find... more
