We booked our holiday through a tour operator without consulting TripAdvisor first.Having subsequently read poor reviews of this hotel we were somewhat concerned but decided to go ahead with the holiday as booked.Overall we were satisfied with the accommodation-the room had two comfortable double beds, excellent heating/air conditioning, room safe which was cheap to hire and a flat screen T.V.with a channel... more

Hotel This is not a 4*. It is 3*. There were no fridges or tea making facilities in the rooms. We were disappointed when we were given room 202. The carpet had an iron burn mark and was covered in stains, as were the bed covers. We complained and they gave us room 510, which had a marble floor and... more

I stayed at this hotel over Easter for a long weekend break in Marrakech. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk along pleasant residential streets to the city centre. The neighbourhood is nice and felt very safe. The hotel has a nice pool and bar area however I didnt eat there so cant comment on the food. The staff... more

Just returned from the El Andalous and pretty much agree with other reviews. Just a few things which will hopefully make your stay more enjoyable: Try and get a room poolside as it is much quieter than rooms over looking the road. Pay no more than 100 for taxi from airport, you will encounter hassle agreeing the price, but 100... more

Pretty much in agreement with other reviews, not the grandest hotel in the area, but good value for money. Rooms were cleaned daily and the standard OK. But as other people have said no fridge, I took on board what another reviewer said about getting a full ice bucket every day - but when I tried it for some reason... more

We stayed at El Andalous on a half board basis over Hogmanay and had a great time. It is good value hotel. I would advise getting a room that overlooks the pool in winter - the sun is on this side of the building. You also get a great view of the Atlas mountains. We thought it was warm during... more

The hotel was fine if a little tired and boring. The pool did not seem to be heated and it was certainly too cold to swim in late december. The tennis court looked inviting but no-one could play as there were no racquets for hire. The buffet was fine, particularly the salads, but some dishes were not replenished. The dessert ran... more

El Andalous stayed 7th Dec-10th, perfect bathing weather apx 25 deg C. Cooler after apx 5pm when light fleece/jumper sufficient til 2am. Hotel El Andalous is a little tired looking (needs refurb) but good facilities - bank, SAT TV,dinning, treatments, entertainment etc. Marrakesch hotels are lower standard than some of the palatial types in Eqypt associated with Sharm-El Shiek/Hurgada etc.... more

I felt like I was in a Vegas theme hotel. But that's not all bad considering it was Morocco. The hotel's lobby was very traditional with cool sofas and decorations, the pool was definitely a plus. While it wasn't warm enough to go swimming outside, the pool area was nicely maintained with plenty of seating. Can't speak for the restaurants... more
