From the warm greeting and the fresh bowl of roses in your room until the time you leave with bags discreetly popped into the taxi for you without asking, your every comfort is attended to. We stayed in this little jewel the week before high season prices kicked in and, as such, enjoyed its many charms for less than we would otherwise have paid - and we had blue skies and 70 degrees all week. We visited this Riyad for our anniversary in August of last year. It is beautifully restored and the staff are helpful. However you do feel rather pounced on the moment you arrive to pay the bill. I understand sometimes there can be problems having credit cards accepted, but this could be helped if they advised you to tell your credit... more
