What can I add that previous reviewers haven't already covered. Dar Silsa was a little piece of heaven tucked away in the heart of the Medina. Nothing was too much trouble for Jean Patrick, Abdul and the staff, booking transfers, restaurants and even giving us a lift to Al Fassia the all female restauarant, which was wonderful. The standard of... more

We arrived at Marrakech after spending 3 fabulous days in Fes in a lovely riad, so Dar Silsila had a lot to live up to. Luckily it did! We were picked up at the train station, which was a big help, and taken to the riad, which is just inside the medina. The riad is stunning - modern (not decorated... more

We found this location via TRIPADVISOR and all we can do is confirm the excellent rating. A beautiful location in the medina of Marrakech - when you arrive there at night as we did it's a bit thrilling to walk through the narrow alleys, but don't worry, it's safe! You knock at the big, wooden door and paradise opens up!... more

I have just come back from spending a short week at Dar Silsila and found my stay there amazing. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely!!!!! Jean-Patrick and his team make one feel really welcome and the service and attention to detail are excellent. The mint tea was lovely but my favourite part were the... more

Dar Silsila is a very special riad, located near the smart boutique shops off Rue Mouassine and close to the souks and main square, making it very accessible to get to most places on foot. We stayed for 6 nights at the Riad and wished it had been longer as Jean Patrick and his staff made it an exceptional and... more

Everything about Dar Silsila was perfect. The location was great - in the Medina but easy to find which is a huge plus. The hotel was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The bedroom was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had the best plumbing in Morocco - a HUGE plus. The owner... more

My husband and I (2 expats) along with my visiting gal pal traveled to Marrakech during the Bank Holiday from 20-25 March. I made direct arrangements with Jean-Patrick without any difficulty. Before we arrived, at his suggestion, he made arrangements for us to be met at the airport by private car (cost added on to your room bill so no... more

We booked to stay at this riad after reading the reviews on tripadvisor, and we could not fault it. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with mint tea. Jean Patrick and his staff at the riad were very helpful and always on hand to give advice on places to see, places to eat and booking trips outwith marrakech.... more

We arrived in the evening to tea and almond cookies, followed by a romantic meal by candle light at the Riad Silsila. This is a great place to stay: the rooms are nicely decorated; there are lovely sitting areas, the location is excellent and Jean Patrik and staff are more than willing to help. Every day after touring the town... more

Got back late last night and just had to add our comments to the many others. The hotel, location, food and particularly hospitality at Dar Silsila are fantastic. We spent 3 wonderful nights there in the Terrace Suite and the room is very spacious, tastefully decorated and a cool haven from (even in March) the hot sun. Opening straight onto... more
