I have just returned from 5 days/4nights in Marrakech staying at the Golden Tulip Hotel, my husband and I found the hotel very clean, good size rooms, plenty of hot water, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast and evening meal were excellent. We shall go back again in a year or so, staying at the Golden... more

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights whilst on a tour of Marakech. Breakfast and lunch were both included, both buffet style and very tasty. Our room was a good size and nice bathroom, complete with bath - which was great to relax in after pounding the streets of Marakesh! The hotel is situated in what appeared to be a... more

My wife and I stayed two nights at this hotel as part of a package tour. Our room faced the side of the hotel and it was fine. The pool was fantastic to come back to after a days sightseeing and the attendants were courteous and helpful. It is set in very pleasant gardens as well. The setting for our... more

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights over the New Year period. Located only 10 minutes drive from the airport, it is a quiet area called Hiverage which is less than 10 minutes walk to the Medina Walls. The hotel staff were friendly and the amenties were great - we used the spa and the restaurant whilst we were... more

The personnel is very 'hautain' , slow and not too helpfull. Lot's of things don't work anymore and need replacement. The main restaurant is becoming very shabby, it is very loud, worse than the factory canteen. Every day the same food and a limited selection. Almost no traditional dishes. Dishes are not washed very well. One day in the morning... more

Stayed overnight during 2 day trip to Marrakech, food not replenished on lunchtime buffet and very limited in choice. View from room was a flat roof and the airconditioning unit plus it smelt of cigarette smoke. Hotel did change room reluctantly after complaint. Shower not working properly and husband asked if i wanted a chip of the bath as a... more

Having booked a holiday to a very different kind of city for myself and my 13 year old daughter I was a little apprehensive but the staff at this hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean and quiet in a peaceful location, a short taxi ride from the main square and walking distance from the new part... more

First a point of clarification - there are 2 Farah hotels in the same road and adjacent to each other in Marrakech... the Kenzi Farah, and the one that we stayed at Golden Tulip Farah (formerly the Siaha) !!!! This fact may account for the huge variations in reviews of Farah hotels in this forum. It is a leisurely 30... more

Typical package hotel, pleasant enough with nice gardens and pool. Rooms average size with reasonable sized bathroom .As lots of package hotels, there were things that didnt work, shower loose and sprayed everywhere, balcony lock broken, i.e. poor maintenance. The worse thing about the hotel was the poor quality buffet,,,,,,,,,cold food, poor variety, surly staff. Hotel about 15 minutes walk... more

Have just got back from a week stay in this hotel and have only got praise for the staff. We arrived very late at night due to a mix up at the airport and were told on arrival that we could have dinner even at that late hour if we wished. The quality of food in all three restaurants is... more
