Coming back from a hard day game viewing this place is absolutely stunning. The service is some of the best I have ever experienced and everything is included at a good price. (even your clothes washing is included and that is great to return home with a clean kit bag :-)) The rooms were stunning, individual luxury tents as per... more

If this is camping, then I'm a camper! Migration Camp was the first accommodation on our Northern Circuit safari, and it was a perfect way to begin our safari. Our tented room was exactly what I expected from viewing photos online. We really enjoyed the experience of a tented safari, but in total comfort. The open air restaurant was lovely... more

We booked this hotel as part of our safari organised by our travel agent Aim 4 Africa and Roy's Safari's in Arusha. From the hotels web site we were expecting something special but this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The accomodation is first class as is the food, going to sleep serenaded by hippo's is a new experience.... more

Migration Camp inhabits the luxury end of the tented camp market in the Serengeti along with Kleins and the Grumeti River Camp. I cannot speak for the latter two but they would have to go some to beat Migration Camp. Our extended family group of seven spent two nights there (occupying three tents) and had expected something rather more spare.... more

This place is awesome. Not sure how to describe it, you have to see it to believe it. Contemporary rustic maybe? Is there such a style? It has hardwood floors, high ceilings, and overstuffed leather chairs. You need to look at my pictures. Since it sits on the side of a hill everything opens up to nature. All the lodge... more

This camp was a bit of a surprise as the website absolutely does not do it justice. It is stunning. There are no cars inside the camp -- you walk on an elevated boardwork to reach the reception/lobby tent. The main tent is beautiful, with dark wood floors, leather furniture, and groovy African art and light fixtures. A nice pool... more

Tented accommodation was very good; smart, comfortable. Staff were very helpful; food was great. Note that the Camp is built on a hillside - the entrance, the lounge, the pool, the bar and the dining room are at the top of a long flight of steps; all the tents/accommodation are at the bottom, so it's not really not suitable for... more

My daughter and I spent 2 nights here and will definitely go back. Everything written in the previous 2 reviews is correct! The rooms were terrific, the sounds of the lions and hippos at night were just awesome and we had baboons, giraffe and cape buffalo in camp also! Peter and Anita were terrific managers, very friendly and helpfu, as... more

Stayed three nights at Migration Camp in late November 2005 and absolutely loved it. The "tents" are incredible, with beautiful hardwood floors and handcrafted furniture made of mininga wood. The double sinks were gorgeous. We loved being served our morning wakeup coffee in bed each morning and hearing all the animals at night. The food was excellent, and wine and... more

My husband and I recently stayed at the newly renovated Migration Camp in the northern corridor of the Serengeti for three nights and wished we had stayed much longer. The "tents" are very big and luxurious, with loads of leather and dark wood; quite masculine and colonial (you can see good photos on the Elewana website) with a beautiful bathroom... more
