The review of June 2, 2006 perfectly sums up the lack of cleanliness of our room. The room also featured a small, hard bed. We booked ahead since we heard the tourist season was going to be crowded and we had heard the RIverview hotel was very good. The hotel Riverview is based on the on the other side of the river to Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan. This means it is pretty quiet but if you want to wander around the town in the evenings it's less convenient. The rooms have a little terrace overlooking the town and satellite tv with quite a few English language channels.... more
