Tsering and her family have created an oasis in the frenzy that is Kathmandu. The hotel is grand and lovely. The service and food is superb. i was in khatmandu november last year and we stayed in hotel tibet. it is in a pretty quiet location, within 20min walking distant to thamel. it has a grand tibetan style lobby with very friendly stuff. the rooms are moderate. because of the location, it has the advantage of being peaceful compared to the bustling thamel. as well as... more
